DELIVERY POLICY

  • Delivery of the goods will only be done on GROUND FLOOR.
  • Delivery can be done on ANY FLOOR, only if good size SERVICE LIFT is available at the building or residency.
  • For VOLUMETRIC shipments which can’t be delivered through SERVICE LIFT, delivery will be done on GROUND FLOOR ONLY.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

1. MEASURING UP FOR DELIVERY

When buying large items of furniture, it is most important to make sure it will fit through the property access and into the intended space in your room. Make sure there is enough height, width and diagonal depth to accommodate your furniture’s entry and that there’s plenty of room to manoeuvre around corners and through doors.

2. STEPS TO ENSURE A PROBLEM FREE DELIVERY

Before ordering, please check carefully that the products you have ordered will fit into the intended space in your home. It is extremely important that customers advise us of any potential delivery difficulties or obstacles. It is important to ensure it can fit through all the entryways, elevators and stairways of your home. Follow these steps to ensure efficient delivery and avoid returns.  Charges will apply for re-delivery caused by failed delivery or cancellation.

3. MEASURE THE SPACE WHERE THE FURNITURE WILL SIT

Check that the furniture will fit the space in the room where it will sit. The dimensions of each piece of furniture can be found on our website and the product pages. If you need any additional dimensions, please feel free to contact our Customer care or email us.

4. KNOW OUR PACKAGING

As much as we love our products and how carefully they are handled and handcrafted in our factories, it is utmost important for us to secure these products while in transit for the safety of the goods, considering unpredictable and multiple handling at times may damage these goods. We secure most of the goods with multi layer packaging involving Plastic wraps, Bubble sheet, Foam sheets, Foam Corners all packed in a Heavy Gauge Corrugated boxes. To further secure these, we sometimes pack them with the wooden crates in some cases if required. We understand that these wooden crates make the packaging bulky, however they are absolutely necessary for securing the product during their transit and are unavoidable.

5. OPENING THE PACKAGING

Once you receive the goods, please note that the delivery person is not authorized or allowed by our logistics partner to wait while you are opening the goods. However, in case you see any extreme visible damage to the external packaging (carton, crate etc.), you should show the same to the delivery personnel and open the goods yourself or with the help of a local carpenter (if there is a wooden crate) and inspect the same. Any damage to the product/ packaging should be shown to the delivery personnel. We also advise you to take pictures of the damaged product or external packaging and send a mail to info@aprodz.com with the Order details, for us to take the case up with our logistics partner. The note of the damage should also be made on the Proof of Delivery Slip or Airway Bill (AWB).

IMPORTANT: Please note that the Delivery Personnel are not obliged or authorised to open/ assemble the furniture or packages. Please note that their duty is to deliver the goods to the customer and they are not directly employed with APRODZ and work with the Third Party Logistics companies. You are requested to cooperate with them and not force them to open the crates, packages etc.

6. ASSEMBLY OF FURNITURE

Most of our furniture will not require any assembly or may require very minimal EASY SELF assembly like screwing the round legs to the base of the sofa or attaching the legs of the coffee tables. There are also some products in which the assembly will be provided by us. 7. INFORMATION ABOUT HIGHER FLOORS

The delivery person will deliver the large goods to your building premises or wherever it is physically possible to deliver the goods for them. For higher floors, they may not be equipped to deliver the goods to your door step. You are requested to arrange for your own labourers/ manpower in advance or post-delivery to get the big products to the higher floor. The responsibility of our logistics partners to deliver the large products is restricted to the ground floor of the building. As of now we do not have resources and personnel to deliver the large furniture to your floor. We will need your cooperation to arrange your own personnel/ labourers to carry the furniture to the floor of your residence.

8. EXTENSION PIN CODES ARE CHARGED EXTRA AT THE TIME OF SHIPPING

A few pin codes are extension for our logistics partners and will be charged extra at the time of shipping. Contact us for more details.
