Installed this swing in the sit-out area of our house.
Initially I was confused between a cushioned swing and a proper wooden one.
Finally went for this because the wooden design looked more timeless.
The natural finish goes nicely with our earthy colour interiors.
Even the chain gives it that proper old-house jhula feeling.
My dad sits here with the newspaper almost every morning now.

“Honestly we ordered this mainly because my wife wanted a traditional jhula at home.
Once installed, I understood why she was insisting on a wooden one.
The natural finish gives much more character compared to the usual metal swings.
We have kept the surrounding décor very simple, so the jhula becomes the main feature.
The brass-style chain detailing also goes nicely with our other traditional pieces.
